# Account type

> Baza can speak for a business or for you as a person.

## Business or personal

When you set up Baza, you choose who it's for:

* **A business:** a company, organisation or team.
* **Just me:** a creator, freelancer, coach or anyone working under their own name.

Your choice changes how the dashboard and your assistant talk about you:

* **A business** talks about your customers and your team.
* **Just me** talks about the people who contact you, and your assistant speaks for you by name. The [**Customers**](https://baza.chat/dashboard/customers) page is called **Contacts**. The settings tab for your details is called **Brand** instead of **Business**.

When you switch, everything else stays the same: your plan, conversations, knowledge, chat page address and the rest. Your assistant's name and welcome message don't change either. If you want them to match, edit them on the **Assistant** page.

To switch:

**1. Open your account settings**

Go to [**Settings →
Business**](https://baza.chat/dashboard/settings?tab=business) (or
[**Settings → Brand**](https://baza.chat/dashboard/settings?tab=business)).

**2. Choose the type**

Under **Account type**, choose **A business** or **Just me**.

**3. Save**

Press **Save account type**.
